Opsun Systems Inc., a Canadian manufacturing firm specializing in bifacial photovoltaic racking structures, has announced a new manufacturing facility in High Point, North Carolina. Opsun will invest $17 million and create 32 new jobs at 772 Gallimore Dairy Rd.

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Canada, the company specializes in bifacial PV racking structures. Leveraging a proprietary, software-driven approach, Opsun rapidly develops and produces aluminum-based solar PV racking systems. The company’s new 54,000-square-foot facility will house its manufacturing operations and serve as a nationwide distribution center for its commercial flat roof solar products.
